Adults Living With MDD:

Advanced Discovery Research is looking for adults with MDD to participate in a clinical research study. This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for adults diagnosed with MDD, who are currently experiencing a depressive episode in which their current medication isn’t helping.

If you are diagnosed with major depressive episode (MDD) and have had an unsuccessful response from previous or current medications, you may qualify to participate in a clinical research study.

All study-related visits, tests, and drugs will be provided at no cost. In addition, reimbursement for study-related time and travel may be available.

You may qualify if you:

  • Are 18 to 65 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
  • Are in a current depressive episode for at least 8 weeks, but not more than 18 months
  • Have been taking an antidepressant medication for at least the last 6 weeks
  • Meet additional study criteria

Placebo looks like the investigational drug but contains no active drug. All patients will take their study drugs once a day for 6 weeks.

Patients will also be asked to visit the study clinic up to 11 times. During study clinic visits, the study doctors and staff will evaluate patients’ overall health and PTSD symptoms through various tests and assessments.

Total participation in this study will last approximately 13 weeks.
